With 5 resources left, I strike down the pally. I keep pushing towards Stonehearth Graveyard hoping to see a fight somewhere, anywhere! I finally come across a lonely pally running the opposite direction and I open fire (I'm a fire mage). I start to worry, by this point all the alliance are in our base, and us in theres. The game is starting to come to a close and i've ran out of enemy. This scores me and extra couple of killing blows and leaves us with 35 more resources to destroy. So I get myself back into the game and help clear out the last half-dozen alliance. I've always wanted the "Wrecking Ball" achievement and never been close or good enough to get this. We finally take the base and I decide to sit down and regain my mana, while doing this I check the scoreboard. The game keeps on going and we keep progressing forward. horde like to stand on the outside of a tower, one little spell and they go flying off. It was my lucky day, after about 30 AV's looking I finally get "To the Looter Go the Spoils" & "Master of Alterac Valley". On a side note, the tower achievement is quite easy to get as an alliance boomkin. We keep gaining ground and I keep looting the fallen. So I make my way to the front like and just start nukin' the alliance. So I join my 6th for the day with the game already in full swing. So for the last week all I have been doing is logging in, doing AV's and searching for an Autographed Picture of Foror & Tigule. I was unable to loot the SOB! All I could really do was laugh. problem is though the BG had just finished. I was pretty happy with myself and this just left one achievement.Ī few AV's later I searched a corpse, low and behold I see an Autographed Picture of Foror & Tigule smiling at me. I had a couple of good runs and was able to recap 5 towers in one BG, finishing off another achievement. It was not too hard, just a bit time consuming. Over the last few weeks I've been getting closer to the achievement "Master of Alterac Valley".
